Making On Loft Together for Social Good Limited  樂 在 造 社 群 設 計 (MOLT) is a community art education, social innovation and research organization of researchers, designers, social workers, artists and makers. MOLT rooted in Tokwawan and operating a 3,600 sq. ft with partners in multi-disciplines and having a branch at Tuen Mun with a local special school. MOLT engaged in a variety of social research, education, community art, maker space design and consultation and social advocacy projects.

[表演藝術及藝術製作人員見習計劃 - 見習職位空缺工作內容簡介]

Internship Post 1: 

Workshop Host (Community Art & Outreach) (Job Reference No. AG084-2024-APP1)

Internship Post 2: 

Maker & Prototyper (Job Reference No. AG084-2024-APP2)

(18-months of Full Time Contract)

Responsibilities:

·  Develop strategy of prototyping from identified problem and research outcome;

·  Handle archival work and development for Material Library;

·  Workshop (Maker space) routine management and maintenance; 

·  Handle physical model/ prototype matters; 

·  Develop social research tool for fast prototyping;

·  Participate into our making relate art project, event and exhibition; 

·  Liaise with internal team, external client and collaborator;

·  Project coordination and fieldwork supervision; and

·  Work closely with supervisor, maker and designer

Required qualifications:

·  Candidates should possess in tertiary education in design/ CS/ art-tech cultural/ creative relate disciplines;

·  1 year or above of design/ production related working experience is preferred, fresh graduate with strong sense in hands on skillsets in crafting, woodwork, electronic, coding, EDM, etc. may also be considered;

·  Good material understanding, research, data organization skills are essential;

·  Good communication skills in both English and Cantonese;

·  Project experience in art-tech relate project is preferred; 

·  Good problem solver who are willing to collaborate with our social designer and artist; 

·  Self-motivated, hardworking and willing to learn; and

·  Obtains specific skills in any hand craft, making, arts, music, sport or any unique is a bonus
